A Wavy-lined Emerald Moth (Synchlora aerata) caterpillar (larva), covered with flower petals to camouflage itself as it feeds on the center of a Black-eyed Susan at Bald Eagle State Park, Howard, Centre County, Pennsylvania. This species is the only widespread species to camouflage itself in this manner.
