US Coast Guard Cutter Penobscot Bay, a small icebreaker, sits at anchor on the Hudson River just north of the George Washington Bridge. The WTGB class cutter, homeported at Bayonne Ocean Terminal in Bayonne, New Jersey, helps keep the Hudson clear of ice in winter.
